Oxies Body Jewellery is an independent UK online shop selling implant-grade titanium piercing jewellery. We stock segment and clicker rings, labret studs, barbells and belly bars for helix, tragus, conch, daith, rook, lobe, nose, septum and navel piercings. Every piece is ASTM F136 titanium, Sterilised and sealed before dispatch. UK delivery is free over £25 and buying two or more pieces unlocks multi-buy savings. Every piece of Oxies body jewellery is made from ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium. This is the same grade of titanium used for medical implants, so it is nickel free, lightweight and does not rust, corrode or discolour. Gold and rose gold pieces are the same titanium finished with a PVD coating rather than plating. We do not sell surgical steel, acrylic or plated fashion jewellery. Browse all products.

Yes. Every item is Sterilised before it is sealed in its own pouch, so it arrives ready to wear. Keep the pouch sealed until you are ready to put the jewellery in, and wash your hands first. Because the seal is what keeps the piece Sterilised, we cannot accept returns once it has been opened unless the item is faulty.

Yes. Implant-grade titanium is the material most UK piercers use for fresh piercings because it is inert and nickel free. With a healing piercing the risk is not the metal but the fit: healing tissue swells, and a hoop or bar that is a millimetre too small will irritate the site. If your piercing is under six months old, ask your piercer to confirm the size before you change it. See our guide on when to downsize piercing jewellery.

Yes. ASTM F136 titanium contains no nickel, which is the most common cause of itchy, red or weeping piercings. If you react to surgical steel, silver or plated fashion earrings, switching to titanium is usually the fix. Not with normal wear. Our gold and rose gold pieces are titanium with a PVD coating, which is bonded into the surface of the metal rather than plated on top. It stands up to daily wear, showers and sleeping in. Like any finish it can dull with repeated exposure to chlorine, bleach or harsh cleaning products, so take it out for swimming and cleaning where you can. Titanium is the better choice for anything worn in a piercing. Surgical steel (316L) contains nickel, which is bound into the alloy but can still cause reactions in sensitive people. Implant-grade titanium is nickel free and around 40% lighter, so hoops and barbells feel less heavy in the ear. Steel is cheaper and fine for many people with fully healed piercings. Gauge is the thickness of the bar, and most ear and septum piercings are 16G (1.2mm). Nostrils are usually 18G (1.0mm) or 20G (0.8mm), lobes 18G to 20G, and belly bars and industrials 14G (1.6mm). The reliable way to check is to measure the bar you already wear or ask your piercer. Every Oxies product page lists the gauge in millimetres. Most healed septum piercings take an 8mm or 10mm ring, most helix piercings 8mm to 10mm, and most nostrils 6mm to 8mm. The right diameter depends on where you were pierced and how much swelling has gone down, so measure your current ring from inside edge to inside edge. Each collection page has sizing questions for that placement: septum, helix and nose.

A healed helix, tragus or conch piercing usually takes a 6mm labret bar. Choose 8mm if you were pierced with a longer bar and have not downsized yet, or if the area is still slightly swollen. Lobes usually take 6mm too. The bar length is listed on every labret product page, and the flat back sits flush against the ear so nothing catches on hair or headphones.

Email enquiries@oxiesbodyjewellery.co.uk with your order number and the size you meant to order. If your order has not been dispatched yet we will change it before it goes out. If it has already arrived and the pouch is still sealed, you can return it within 30 days and reorder the right size. Checking the gauge and diameter on the product page before ordering saves the wait.

A segment ring is a seamless hoop with a small removable section that pulls out so the ring can be fitted. A hinged clicker has that section on a hinge, so it swings open and clicks shut with one hand, which makes it far easier to change at home. Both look seamless once closed. Threadless (push-fit) labrets are easier to change at home: the top pulls straight out and presses back in. Threaded tops screw on and hold slightly more securely. Both are secure for everyday wear, so it comes down to preference. If you swap your jewellery often or find small screws fiddly, choose threadless. Straight barbells suit industrial, tongue and nipple piercings. Curved barbells, sometimes called bananas, suit rook, eyebrow, daith and belly piercings. Circular barbells, or horseshoes, suit septum, daith and lip piercings. Match the gauge and length to the piece you already wear. No. Oxies Body Jewellery delivers to UK addresses only, so checkout will not accept an address outside the United Kingdom. Every order is packed and posted from within the UK by Royal Mail and is sent tracked, which keeps delivery quick and reliable. If that ever changes we will update this page and our delivery policy.

UK delivery is free on orders over £25. Orders of £25 or under pay a flat £3.25. Free delivery is applied automatically at checkout once your basket total, after any discounts, is over the threshold. With prices from £9 and multi-buy savings, two or three pieces usually takes you past £25.

Most UK orders arrive within 2 to 3 working days of dispatch. We send every order within 1 working day of payment, Monday to Friday, and every order is tracked, so you will get a dispatch email with a tracking link. Working days exclude weekends and UK public holidays. If your parcel has not arrived within 10 working days of the estimated date, contact us and we will open an investigation with Royal Mail.

Buy any 2 items and save 25%, or buy 3 or more and save 40%. The discount applies automatically in your basket across any mix of products, so you can combine a segment ring, a labret and a belly bar. The saving is taken off before the free delivery threshold is checked. Multi-buy cannot be combined with other discount codes unless we say otherwise.

We accept all major debit and credit cards, plus Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Checkout runs on Shopify's secure payment system, so we never see or store your card details. All prices are in pounds sterling. Discount codes must be entered at checkout and cannot be added after an order has been placed.

Contact us within 1 hour of ordering if you need to cancel or change anything. Because we dispatch within 1 working day, we cannot guarantee changes after that, and once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled. Email enquiries@oxiesbodyjewellery.co.uk with your order number and what needs changing, and we will do what we can.

First check the tracking link in your dispatch email. If the parcel has not arrived within 10 working days of the estimated delivery date, email us with your order number and we will open an investigation with Royal Mail. Parcels confirmed as lost qualify for a replacement or store credit. We cannot change the delivery address once a parcel has been dispatched, so please double check it at checkout.

You can return unopened items within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unworn and still in their sealed Sterilised pouch, with your order number as proof of purchase. Email us first, then post the item using a tracked service. Return postage is your responsibility and the original delivery charge is deducted from the refund, which goes back to your original payment method once we have inspected the item. Because body jewellery sits inside a piercing, we cannot resell an item once its Sterilised seal has been broken. Every piece is Sterilised and sealed before dispatch, and UK hygiene standards mean opened jewellery cannot be accepted back. This protects every customer who orders from us. It does not apply to faulty, damaged or incorrect items, which we will always replace or refund.

Email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we will send a replacement or a full refund. This covers anything faulty, damaged in transit or different from what you ordered. Damage caused by forcing a hinge or bending a bar is not covered. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected.

Only once the piercing has fully healed, which is usually 6 to 8 weeks for lobes and septums and 6 to 12 months for cartilage piercings such as helix, tragus and conch. Changing too early reopens the wound and can leave a bump. Ask your piercer to do the first change, or at least to confirm the piercing is ready. Warm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap are all titanium needs. Rinse well and dry with a clean cloth before wearing. Avoid alcohol, bleach and jewellery dips on PVD gold pieces. While a piercing is healing, clean the piercing itself with sterile saline twice a day rather than removing the jewellery. Our care guide covers cleaning and storage in more detail.
