Cartilage Earrings

292 products

Cartilage earrings in ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium, sterilised and sealed so they are nickel free and ready to wear straight from the pack. Cartilage piercings are slow to heal and quick to react to cheap metal, which is why piercers recommend implant-grade titanium for helix, tragus, conch, daith, rook and forward helix piercings.

This is the whole cartilage range in one place: flat back labret studs that sit flush against the ear, hinged segment hoops and clickers that click shut with one hand, and curved barbells for the rook. Nearly everything is 16G (1.2mm), the standard cartilage gauge, with 6mm posts and 6mm to 10mm hoop diameters, in silver, gold PVD, rose gold PVD and black PVD.

Prices start at £8 and orders over £25 ship free in the UK. Buy 2 to save 25% or 3 or more to save 40%.

What gauge are cartilage earrings?

Most helix, tragus, conch, daith and rook piercings are 16G (1.2mm). Some helix piercings are 18G (1.0mm). Match the gauge you were pierced with; it is printed on every product page.

Are titanium cartilage earrings better than surgical steel?

Yes for most people. Surgical steel contains nickel, which is the most common cause of sore, itchy or weeping cartilage piercings. ASTM F136 titanium is nickel free, lighter and the same grade used in medical implants.

Stud or hoop for cartilage?

A flat back stud is the comfortable everyday choice and the right option while a piercing is healing. A hoop gives the curated-ear look but moves more, so save it for a piercing that has fully healed.
